Terms of Delivery:
Restaurant Delivery Payment Terms: The driver
will prepay for your restaurant food, and you reimburse them at
the door. We can deliver from ANY RESTAURANT YOU CHOOSE, but because
food can not be returned to these restaurants your driver may
want extra reassurance that you're a real person and not a thief
or prankster. Personal checks are not accepted, and your driver
may refuse to deliver the order if he/she suspects there is a
high probability of fraud or for any other reason. You may reimburse
your driver with CASH or some drivers allow PAYPAL. In addition
to the cost of your food, delivery fees are minimum of $12 and
generous tipping is encouraged. You must be at least 18 years
old to order.
Restaurant Delivery Ordering Terms: We suggest
that you call the restaurant and place the order on the telephone
yourself, to ensure accuracy. We offer a simple restaurant to
door delivery service and do not guarantee accuracy of any restaurant
delivery orders. Therefore it is always preferable for you to
speak directly with the restaurant personnel, and do be sure to
take their name and badge number if possible, to ensure that your
restaurant delivery is as accurate as possible. You may also wish
to ask the restaurant personnel to tie bags securely as an added
precaution to prevent tampering or spillage during delivery.
Grocery Delivery Payment Terms: Since most grocery
goods are returnable you do not need to pre-pay before delivery.
Grocery orders may be paid for UPON DELIVERY to your door. Once
you have received the goods and checked them for accuracy you
may process the payment online via PAYPAL or pay your driver with
CASH. Most drivers do not accept checks but a few may accept a
check if they have dealt with you in the past and you have become
a regular customer. Be sure to clear it with your driver personally
- otherwise it is generally known that checks are NOT accepted.
Grocery Delivery Ordering Terms: Grocery orders
are generally guaranteed for accuracy but please be advised that
grocery shopping is not a precise science and sometimes your products
may not be exactly what you wanted. We ask you to try to be understanding
of this. Working with the same shopper over and over again will
help you to get better accuracy as the shopper will become acclimated
to your needs. That being said, you may request a refund for any
items that were not as you requested as long as your shopper has
not left your delivery location. Once the shopper leaves your
delivery location all sales are final, and there can be absolutely
no returns after this time. You must be at least 18 years old
A Note about our Partner Relationships: Our delivery
partners (grocery shoppers and restaurant delivery personnel alike)
are self employed and do not work for us. On the contrary, we
charge them a small commission for each order they complete using
our web site. Accordingly we do not micromanage them or tell them
how to do their jobs. You may notice a considerable difference
from one partner to the next, and you are encouraged to try a
different food delivery person if your first experience is less
than ideal. We use an automated feedback rating system, which
you will have the opportunity to complete once you have completed
your first order with us. If you have a bad experience please
let us know. We monitor feedback carefully and will dissolve our
partnership with any food delivery persons that consistently fail
to meet customer expectations.
Communications Policy: We encourage you to contact
your shopper directly for any questions related specifically
to your delivery. If you have a minor complaint about your order
please use the automated feedback system to let us know. If you
have a serious complaint that you feel needs immediate attention
please send us an email
here. Please be aware that our corporate office is in Honolulu,
HI - probably nowhere near you. Emails containing questions about
your delivery will not be answered by us - please contact your
shopper directly. Because we are a web based referral system only,
that connects customers like you with delivery personnel in your
area, we do not post a phone number for general telephone inquiries.
Please call the shopper in your area for questions about how your
delivery will be performed, questions about payment, etc., and
to determine what is possible and what is not with regards to
your food delivery.
Financial Responsibility: You will never send
LoneStarShoppers.com any money directly, your payments will always
go directly to your grocery shopper or restaurant delivery person.
Therefore all financial responsibility lies with your food delivery
person. LoneStarShoppers.com will never offer any refunds to customers,
because you have never given us any money in the first place.
We do however encourage you to report poor service via our built
in feedback system, with the hopes of connecting you with only
the highest quality delivery personnel.
