Why am I selling?
This site was launched in April 2009. It is designed to be manageable
remotely, indeed I successfully managed grocery delivery for Houston,
TX from my home Austin, TX for 18 months. What I did not anticipate was
the amount of management time that would be required. I have experienced
what are probably normal levels of shoppers mis-scheduling themselves,
not responding to emails, needing help or advice, quitting and going dead(inactive)
without telling me, and forgetting to close their orders within 24 hours,
which is causing me to spend more time than I had anticipated on managing
the dispatch of orders. In addition the rate of new customer orders has
not been what I had hoped. While we have achieved significantly better organic search
engine ratings and increased web traffic over the past 3 months we are still
not seeing nearly as many orders I would have expectected by now.
How can a buyer make money by managing
this site remotely?
The owner of this website (ie - the new buyer) will earn commissions
on each grocery order that goes through the system (usually $4-$6). In
exchange the new owner of this website will need to staff 1 person (possibly
himself/herself) to act as dispatch manager. When shoppers do what they
are supposed to do there is not a dispatch problem. But sometime shoppers,
who are human, forget to change their schedule before going out of town
for instance. Then the dispatch manager has to call other shoppers and
fix the problem, etc..
What is the price?
I am selling the 2 domains, custom ASP web pages, customer database
(access), employee database (access), high search engine ranking, around
700 unique visitors per month, EVERYTHING for the incredibly low price
of $3800 FIRM. You can easily pay more for just a DOMAIN
NAME folks, this is priced to sell. I have spent more than 200 hours designing
these custom web pages. This is an incredible deal.

A google search for "houston grocery delivery" reveals that we are now alternating between the #1 and #2 results for 'houston grocery delivery'. Our search engine optimization for organic (free) search engine listings is excellent.
