Possible Discounts: Some drivers give a 3 percent discount for cash (not checks!) Possible Miscellaneous Charges: To make percentage based grocery delivery work we have to allow for a few special situations. Each driver may charge the following additional fees at their discretion:    1) Office Surcharge - A $4.00 surcharge may be applied to multi-story office building deliveries    2) Pharmacy/Deli/Meat Counter Surcharge - A $1.50 surcharge may be applied for each STOP at the counter    3) Stairs Surcharge - A $1.50 surcharge may be applied for deliveries that require climbing stairs    4) Beverage Surcharge - For each large heavy beverage ordered beyong the 6th, a $0.75 cent surcharge may be applied. This surcharge is intended for orders that consist largely of heavy beverage products. This charge typically does not apply to families who are ordering a variety of goods like milk, cokes, juice, etc...
